Some Evidence for the Truth of Islam

IN THE NAME OF ALLAH THE MOST MERCIFUL .
Chapter 1
Chapter 1, Some Evidence for the Truth of Islam
God supported His last Prophet Muhammad with many miracles and much evidence which proved that he is a true Prophet sent by God. Also, God supported His last revealed book, the Holy Quran, with many miracles that prove that this Quran is the literal word of God, revealed by Him, and that it was not authored by any human being. This chapter discusses some of this evidence.

(1) The Scientific Miracles
in the Holy Quran

The Quran is the literal word of God, which He revealed to His Prophet Muhammad through the Angel Gabriel. The Holy QuranIt was memorized by Muhammad , who then dictated it to his Companions. They, in turn, memorized it, wrote it down, and reviewed it with the Prophet Muhammad . Moreover, the Prophet Muhammad reviewed the Quran with the Angel Gabriel once each year and twice in the last year of his life. From the time the Quran was revealed, until this day, there has always been a huge number of Muslims who have memorized all of the Quran, letter by letter. Some of them have even been able to memorize all of the Quran by the age of ten. Not one letter of the Quran has been changed over the centuries.
The Quran, which was revealed fourteen centuries ago, mentioned facts only recently discovered or proven by scientists. This proves without doubt that the Quran must be the literal word of God, revealed by Him to the Prophet Muhammad , and that the Quran was not authored by Muhammad or by any other human being. This also proves that Muhammad is truly a prophet sent by God. It is beyond reason that anyone fourteen hundred years ago would have known these facts discovered or proven only recently with advanced equipment and sophisticated scientific methods. Some examples follow.

The Difference of The Bible and The Quran

IN THE NAME OF ALLAH THE MOST MERCIFUL .

Based on a transcript of a lecture by Dr. Gary Miller

The Bible is a collection of writings by many different authors. The Quran is a dictation. The speaker in the Quran - in the first person - is God talking directly to man. In the Bible you have many men writing about God and you have in some places the word of God speaking to men and still in other places you have some men simply writing about history. The Bible consists of 66 small books. About 18 of them begin by saying: This is the revelation God gave to so and so… The rest make no claim as to their origin. You have for example the beginning of the book of Jonah which begins by saying: The word of the Lord came to Jonah the son of Elmitaeh saying… quote and then it continues for two or three pages.
If you compare that to one of the four accounts of the life of Jesus, Luke begins by saying: “many people have written about this man, it seems fitting for me to do so too”. That is all… no claim of saying “ these words were given to me by God here they are for you it is a revelation”, there is no mention of this.
The Bible does not contain self-reference, that is, the word 'Bible' is not in the Bible. Nowhere does the Bible talk about itself. Some scriptures are sometimes pointed to in the Bible, say: Here where it talks about itself, but we have to look closely. 2nd Timothy 3:16 is the favourite which reads: “All scripture is inspired of God” and there are those who would say, here is where the Bible it talks about itself, it says it is inspired of God, all of it. But if you read the whole sentence, you read that this was a letter wrote by Paul to Timothy and the entire sentence says to Timothy: “Since you were a young man you have studied the holy scriptures, all scriptures inspired by God” and so on… When Timothy was a young man the New Testament did not exist, the only thing that stems he was talking about are scriptures – which are only a portion of the Bible - from before that time. It could not have meant the whole Bible...............

Is The Bibles and The Quran God's word ?
One of the major sources of corruption of the Bible is translation and translations of translations. With regards to the Gospels of the Christians, there is no record of even writing down any document when Jesus received revelations. It is believed by the Christians that the first records of the teachings of Jesus (A) and his life were made decades after his disappearance and it was in the Greek language. The earliest manuscript available is from the fourth century after Jesus. In the case of the Old Testament, it was written in Hebrew and its dialects, but was destroyed at least twice by the enemies of Judaism in ancient times without leaving a single copy and was rewritten from memory, one of the sources of corruption. The Qur'an was recorded in writing as well as in the memory of many people in the lifetime of the Prophet Muhammad (S) and was compiled in book form according to his directions by his companions shortly after his death..........

Prophet Muhammad's Last Sermon

IN THE NAME OF ALLAH THE MOST MERCIFUL.
Prophet Muhammad's Last Sermon

This sermon was delivered on the Ninth day of Dhul al Hijjah 10 A.H. in the 'Uranah valley of Mount Arafat.
After praising, and thanking God, he said:

"O People, listen well to my words, for I do not know whether, after this year, I shall ever be amongst you again. Therefore listen to what I am saying to you very carefully and take these words to those who could not be present today.

O People, just as you regard this month, this day, this city as Sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Treat others justly so that no one would be unjust to you. Remember that you will indeed meet your LORD, and that HE will indeed reckon your deeds. God has forbidden you to take usury (riba), therefore all riba obligation shall henceforth be waived. Your capital , however, is yours to keep. You will neither inflict nor suffer inequity. God has judged that there shall be no riba and that all the riba due to `Abbas ibn `Abd al Muttalib shall henceforth be waived.

Every right arising out of homicide in pre-Islamic days is henceforth waived and the first such right that I waive is that arising from the murder of Rabi`ah ibn al Harith ibn `Abd al Muttalib.

O Men, the Unbelievers indulge in tampering with the calendar in order to make permissible that which God forbade, and to forbid that which God has made permissible. With God the months are twelve in number. Four of them are sacred, three of these are successive and one occurs singly between the months of Jumada and Sha`ban. Beware of the devil, for the safety of your religion. He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead you astray in big things, so beware of following him in small things.

O People, it is true that you have certain rights over your women, but they also have rights over you. Remember that you have taken them as your wives only under God's trust and with His permission. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Treat your women well and be kind to them, for they are your partners and committed helpers. It is your right and they do not make friends with anyone of whom you do not approve, as well as never to be unchaste...

O People, listen to me in earnest, worship God (The One Creator of the Universe), perform your five daily prayers (Salah), fast during the month of Ramadan, and give your financial obligation (zakah) of your wealth. Perform Hajj if you can afford to.

All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not, therefore, do injustice to yourselves.

Remember, one day you will appear before God (The Creator) and you will answer for your deeds. So beware, do not stray from the path of righteousness after I am gone.

O People, no prophet or messenger will come after me and no new faith will be born. Reason well, therefore, O People, and understand words which I convey to you. I am leaving you with the Book of God (the Quraan) and my Sunnah (the life style and the behavioral mode of the Prophet), if you follow them you will never go astray.

All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again; and may the last ones understand my words better than those who listen to me directly. Be my witness O God, that I have conveyed your message to your people.

Pendapat Tokoh-Tokoh Terhadap Bible

IN THE NAME OF ALLAH THE MOST MERCIFUL.

Pendapat Tokoh-Tokoh Non-Muslim Terhadap Bible

4. Dr. A. Powel Davies dalam bukunya "The meaning of the Dead Sea Scrolls The New American Library" tahun 1961 , p. 106, berkata: "The first three, or Synoptic Gospels tell much the same story. There are discrepancies; but it is impossible to a considerable extent to reconcile them. John's Gospel, however, tells quit a different story from the other three. If John is right, then the other three are wrong; If the Synoptic are right, the John's gospel must surely be in error."

Artinya: Adapun enam buah kitab (Weda, Awesta, Kitab-kitab tentang Budha, Tao-teking, Kitab--kitab Confusius, Al-Qur'an) tidak begitu saya kenal.

I know of no book in history which could compare with the Bible as a source of bru-tality and sadistic conduct.

8. Prof. Herbert J. Muller dalam buku "The Uses of the Past, p. 168 lewat bukunya O. Hashem, "Marxiesme dan Agama", tahun 1965, Japi Surabaya, p. 45, berkata: "Scholars regard this text ( I Johannes 5:7) as a later interpolation however, since it does not appear in the best manuscripts."

9. Kata Herman Bakel dan Dr. A. Powel Davies, "Injil Matius 28:19 dan Injil Markus 16:9-19 adalah sisipan. Bacalah bukunya." (Hashem, "Jawaban Lengkap Kepada Pendeta Dr. J. Verkuyl," terbitan JAPI, Surabaya, tahun 1969, halaman 94).

10. Uskup John Shelby Spong dalam bukunya Why Christianity Must Change or Die (1998).

11. Reverend DR Charles Francis Potter dalam bukunya The Lost Years of Jesus Revealed (1992).

12. John Davidson dalam bukunya The Gospel of Jesus (1995).

Dimont dalam bukunya Jews, God and History (1994).

Rev. David J. Fant, seorang Setiausaha Umum bagi New York Bible Society: The question naturally arises, do any of the original manuscripts of the Bible still exist? The answer is No. The original manuscripts were on papyrus and other perishable materials and have long since disappeared.

(Soalan biasanya ditanya, adakah naskah-naskah asal Alkitab masih wujud sehingga kini?

David J. Fant, Simple Helps and Visual Aids to Understanding The Bible, m.s. 6.

IN THE NAME OF ALLAH THE MOST MERCIFUL.

Hadis dr Sahl bin Hunaif r.a:

Diriwayatkan daripada Yusair bin Amr katanya:

Aku bertanya kepada Sahl bin Hunaif:

Adakah engkau pernah mendengar Nabi s.a.w menceritakan tentang Khawarij?
Sahl menjawab:

Warren Buffett's son preaches values as wealth

By Christine Kearney Christine Kearney Mon May 10, 8:36 am ET

NEW YORK (Reuters) – The son of billionaire investor Warren Buffett has an old-world spiritual message for today's money-rich parents: teach your children values and do not give them everything they want.

Musician and now author Peter Buffett preaches the message in his new book "Life is What You Make it: Finding Your Own Path to Fulfillment". Recently released in the United States, it describes how he wound up a "normal, happy" person instead of a spoiled child to one of the world's richest people.

Buffett, 52, teaches the rewards of self-respect and pursuing one's own passions and accomplishments rather than buying into society's concepts of material wealth.

"I am my own person and I know what I have accomplished in my life," he said. "This isn't about wealth or fame or money or any of that stuff, it is actually about values and what you enjoy and finding something you love doing."

2010 : The interesting aspect of 3rd richest man of the world

Everyone has heard of Warren Buffett who is reported to be the world's greatest stock market investor and is worth US$36 billion, lives in a house he bought for US$31,500, dines on burgers and quotes Mae West.

The following is a brief write-up on this super-rich man.

Subject: CNBC interview with Warren Buffett
There was a one hour interview on CNBC with Warren Buffett, the second richest man who has donated $31 billion to charity. Here are some very interesting aspects of his life:

1) He bought his first share at age 11 and he now regrets that he started too late!

2) He bought a small farm at age 14 with savings from delivering newspapers.

3) He still lives in the same small 3 bedroom house in mid-town Omaha, that he bought after he got married 50 years ago. He says that he has everything he needs in that house. His house does not have a wall or a fence.

4) He drives his own car everywhere and does not have a driver or security people around him.

5) He never travels by private jet, although he owns the world's largest private jet company.

6) His company, Berkshire Hathaway, owns 63 companies. He writes only one letter each year to the CEOs of these companies, giving them goals for the year. He never holds meetings or calls them on a regular basis.

7) He has given his CEO's only two rules. Rule number 1: do not lose any of your share holders' money. Rule number 2: Do not forget rule number 1.

8) He does not socialize with the high society crowd. His past time after he gets home is to make himself some pop corn and watch television.

9) Bill Gates, the world's richest man met him for the first time only 5 years ago. Bill Gates did not think he had anything in common with Warren Buffet. So he had scheduled his meeting only for half hour. But when Gates met him, the meeting lasted for ten hours and Bill Gates became a devotee of Warren Buffet.

10) Warren Buffet does not carry a cell phone, nor has a computer on his desk.

11) His advice to young people: Stay away from credit cards and invest in yourself.

Amazing individual indeed.......

Terowong rahsia Hamas yg tak rahsia lagi

IN THE NAME OF ALLAH THE MOST MERCIFUL ..

Kubu rahsia Hamas
Susunan Hafizah Iszahanidmailto:Iszahanidhafiza@bharian.com.my

Pembinaan mengambil masa paling kurang enam.

Upah menggali RM480 sehari.

The scenary along the road not much different from Malaysian Village .. A wide area of paddy field alternate with bushes or houses and man made ponds. This bring the natural beauty of village in Cittagong.

This is the beauty of Dowlatpur village .

Almost every family or joint family had one man made ponds for cleaning or bathing or fishing for protein food.... but for drinking ..they use water pump out from the ground.

Knowing the people of Dowlatpur

This is one of Imam Abu Jacfar son and grandson standing infront of their home. His son is a student of Madrasah .

In this village we live in this house . It is a convenient 2 storey house . It has one washroom on every floor , 7 rooms , kitchen for wood fire stove and wide dining . A small hall on the ground floor and 2 big hall living area on th e second floor saparated by bed rooms. One long narrow balcony and steps to the roof where they use to hang laundry or dry the paddy .

I said to my host the son, " You are a rich man. You have a bangalow house and 'swimming pool' But they never feel they are rich anyway they have enough for what the family basic needs.

Electricity is a big problem in city or village . Electricity black out often happen. This house has no television or radio . In summer lack of electricity supply cause increase of hot weather and mosquitoes . This situation bring inconvenient to the people in most area in bangladesh specially to children .

This is brother Taher who is Imam Jacfar younger brother. theor home was side by side. He is a sale man selling various kind of ropes in the cittagong city . Just like his brother he use to come home every friday to join the family but return to Cittagong city for his usual job.

These are friendly neighbours. They are like relatives to each other. Mujappur in purple shirt is working in Oman .. At the back is his home which is under renovation to prepare for his wedding .. May Allah bless the couple !

In front of some houses we saw alot of paddy straw which is used for fire source for stove or to feed cows .. Abu Jacfar has helpers to work his paddy field ..he will hire the village people who will do everything from plough to mill the paddy into rice ..

Here I cannot show the women of Abu Jacfar family because the ladies are not allow to expose to public or men. If they need to go out they will cover themselves fully in a black cloth call burqa . They call it Islamic dress but some wear it as following the tradition and a few wear it as following the syariah rules

It is fun being surrounded with these Benggali kids . The tallest girl is Imam abu jacfar youngest daughter name tahura ...and the rest are his grandchildren . Tahura had memorise some surah including surah Yasin .. she is now 11 yrs old ... I had tested her ....She is fantastic !

As usual kids will be so excited to see strangers at their home . They will follow me when I move from one house to another. Looking at me without any words. When I try to talk to them some respond very good in english but just give a smile.
I shook hand with the boys and hugged the girls ... But I was surprised when one small boy maybe age 7 or 8 yrs old suddenly give me a hug and i dont like to break his heart and give him a hug too and said to him ' be good boy '.

We had been invited to some neighbours home for dinner and lunch too. They are so kind to us and excited to accept visitor from Malaysia.
One night when we were on our back to our host home we were stopped by a group of ladies and kids . They were abt 10 of them.I was so surprised and curious too. What was going on in the middle of the path at night.
I was told that they were waiting to meet me and to ask what bring me to visit this poor village when I am from a rich and beautiful country ... That is what they think about my country.
Spontaneously I answered, " because I know people of bangladesh is friendly" ... Actually it was not my perfect answer but atleast I made them feel how great they were ... poverty wont stop the sense of humanity .
With the help of my translator, Noman I chatted a while with the ladies and then we hugged each other and dismissed.

Mid East conflict .. The Barrier Destroyed..Alhamdulillah

Wed Jan 23, 3:38 PM ET

Palestinians walk on a destroyed section of the border wall as they cross between Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, and Egypt Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2008. Masked Palestinian gunmen blew holes into the Gaza-Egypt border wall Wednesday, and thousands of Gazans trapped in their territory by a tight blockade poured into Egypt to buy food, fuel and other supplies that have become scarce.

Tens of thousands of Gazans poured into Egypt on Wednesday to stock up on goods in the face of an Israeli blockade, after Hamas militants blew up parts of the barrier that marks the border.

Exploring Cittagong city

Biscuits made in Malaysia.. on first day in Dhaka

6th Dec. 2007 we arrived safely in Dhaka after 4 hrs travelling by Malaysian airline system from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) to Zia International Airport, Dhaka. Travelling for hrs made my legs strain alot, but we had prepared first aid for our needs.

At domestic departure we were served with some biscuits and cakes made in Malaysia before boarding... very interesting! We departed at 4 pm and arrived at Cittagong International Airport 40 mins later. From high above I could see some big ponds or wide swamp area. Later on I was told that some area had been affected by flood before winter season came.

At exit door of the airport we were welcomed by 2 of our hosts. They were from Dowlatpur Village who was working in MidEast country for years. With cheerful face one of them handed over a bouquet of flower one for me and one for hubby.

5 pm was time for maghrib prayer. We were told to take one night stay in Cittagong city because Dowlatpur village is 40+ km away and it took abt 2 hrs to arrive. Our host said he will get 2 taxi because we have 2 big luggage. I was surprise why 2 taxi .? .. 2 big luggage and 4 passengers was enough for one taxi .

Three wheels taxi

Oo masyaAllah ...! There came the taxi with 3 wheels that could take only 3 passengers according to traffic law. In bangladesh it's called cng taxi, tut tut in Thailand and riksha in Pakistan... did not check wat it's called in India .. but this kind of taxi in Bangladesh was imported from India.

.

It's cheapest way to travel and faster compared to another cheaper transport called riksha. We saw this 2 kind of transport many on the road . Very rare motorist seen . They were cars and vans, buses and lorries too. The road was so so busy and not systematic

No traffic law..the driver is free ...?

Traffic jam happened sometimes but nobody showed anger to the driver that cause the blocking. Every driver seemed to understood each other, and tolerate to impatient driver. I guess no one here knows know the meaning of breaking the traffic law eventhough it run over the red traffic light . No matter driving agressively eventhough it made me screaming frightened from collide. No accident eventhough the drivers over take at curve road. The driver will make hon to warn if any car coming from opposite side and the car from opposite road will slow down to let this car over take safely. Bangladesh drivers were skillful in driving .. but i did not see any drivers drived more then 80 km/hr or maybe not even 60 km/hr on of 2 lanes road in Cittagong. 12 days in Bangladesh. I didnt see any car collide or accident too. Mercyful God...!

On the first night we were accomodate at Quader home, a student of computer science. His father an engineer welcomed us and served special dish as starter. Itts the culture. They call it noodles which was instant fried mee in malaysia and some Benggoli sweets. This noodles make my stomach full. .
At 10 pm was their dinner time.. They served Benggali cuisine consist of chicken in gravy, dried shrimp fried, boiled eggs, fried fish, 2 dish of vegetables , special dhall soup and rice. Phuh ..! This was so gooooodd ! I was so surprise to see them serve one full plate plenty of rice. I had to ask apology because I could not take that much and transfer half of the rice to other empty plate. It recalled me when I used to eat at Indian restaurant they used to give u full plenty of rice in one pack which i could only ate half of it. I used to complain my husband ate too fast ... but here I saw my host he really beat my husband. He ate faster then my husband... He didnt care eventhough I was laughing at him .

Its winter season in Bagladesh. The temperature at night in Cittagong was abt 18 degree celsius. Due to long journey we slept like a log in this house which has 3 rooms with 2 toilets, dining area, hall and medium size kitchen. Very convinient for small family. It's beautiful and had most of the basic needs for convinient living. Florescent lamp, clean pipe water, gas stove, fridge ... but no eletric heater for winter season or air condition for summer season. Only fan for summer and soft thick blanket made in Korea, sweater local made and hot tea with milk blend on stove to keep warm in winter.

Second day In Bangladesh..

Giving respect to Imam al Hafiz Abu Jaafar

Fajar solat in Cittagong was abt 5.15 am Bangladesh time .. but our eyes that used to fajr prayer in Malaysia had awaken at 4 am that would be 6 am in Malaysia. After solat cant sleep anymore so I took a stroll outside . It was 6.30 pm the sky was so bright.. but resident area still quiet. Only few peoples walking and some riksha waiting to offer services . The fare was less then 1 RM per ride depend on the distance .

In the picture with Hj Amin is an Imam of Masjid Jamie Al falah the national masjid of Cittagong Imam Al Hafiz Abu Jaafar. He is a famous Imam in Cittagong . He wrote many religious articles in national language. Can speak Arabic but not English. Together in the picture is his son a student of madrasah in Cittagong city. In Cittagong city madrasah teachers and students are obliged to stay in hostel and they can return home during week end or public holidays .

Imam Abu Jafar lives in Dowlatpur Village. We was taken by our host to visit him on the second day to give respect ... Hubby and me will stay in his home for few days. He welcomed us and served lunch Pullau rice with chicken and boiled egg. So sweet and so plenty. If I ate all of them I might sure increase in my weight another 5 kg within few days. They ate so much but they really thin. I was wondering what kind of body metabolism they had.

He told us that he could not attend us at his home. But he will meet us on friday because that would be his off day to join his family in the village which was abt 75 - 80 km away from Cittagong city.

Many beggars in City but not any in village

While we were talking suddenly a lady beggar simply enter the Imam's home. she was talking banggali, squating infront of me and touching my feet with her 2 hands. I used to see that in Indian movie but this was first time it really happen to me. I just move my feet backward and look at her curiousity . My host gave her some money but she refused to take and still begging something from me which I could not understand. I ask my host what she said but he not telling me. Later on the Imam son asked her to go out, but she still begging from the window.

These were common in city. Many beggars from small kids women and men too. , but u will not meet any beggar in village. Once there was a woman carrying a handicaped man while begging. I was told that its activity of a syndicate.... these poor people were used to beg to collect money for a syndicate group. wallahualam

After visit Imam Abu Jafar who was our host's father, we started our journey to Dowlatpur village by cng taxi. It was 300 Taka fare abt 15 RM.. since we hired 2 taxi so that would be 30 RM for 4 of us and my 2 big luggage for distance abt 75 - 80 km . It was adventure to ride an open air transport for more than 2 hours in winter .. and sometimes had to pass on groovy road make your body shaking rock and roll.

to be continued....

If any mistake in my grammer or vocabulary kindly inform me plsss .. tq!
